Product Description

L77 engines were released in the Series II VE range in manual and automatics. If unsure of your engine type, check the plate located in the engine bay on the passenger side strut tower.

Our L77 Camshaft package includes everything you need to install a performance camshaft into your engine

  • PSI Valve Springs (16)
  • HD Pushrods 7.350 (16)

  • Choice of A Genuine GM Balancer Bolt, ARP Balancer Bolt or Neither

When installing a camshaft into a L77 engine you need to remove the DOD lifters & valley plate and replace them with the items supplied in this kit.

  • Stealth - Duration 223/235 @.050 - Lobe Sep 115 +Adv. - Valve Lift INT 0.610 - EXT 0.620
  • Torque Master - Duration 227/239 @ .050 - Lobe Sep 114 +Adv. - Valve Lift INT 0.613 - EXT 0.623
  • Street Racer - Duration 231/243 @ .050 - Lobe Sep 113 +Adv. - Valve Lift INT 0.617 - EXT 0.623
  • Turbo Killer - Duration 235/243 @ .050 - Lobe Sep 112 +Adv. - Valve Lift INT 0.620 - EXT 0.623

All of our cams are custom ground for us by Comp Cams in the USA

All of our cams have been in house designed and tested to make more power than the equivalent size cams on the market

These cams have aggressive lobes for maximum power and must use high quality Psi Beehive or Comp Duel Kit Valve Springs

Valve train is reliable when correct spring are used

The Super Stock camshaft does not require any stall converter modification when used with in an Automatic

    I have had the pleasure of installing two of these SR2 Cam packages in L77 VE & VF model engines.

    Both vehicles were identical with supporting mods, full stainless X-force Exhausts with 1 7/8 headers, Vcm Otr, 25% Ud pulley, Dod delete with Tie bar lifters.

    The only difference between the two was the VF had Higgins Race Heads, Dual Row Timing Chain and a new NPC 430kw clutch kit.

    The first VE ss ute has made 339.3rwkw and the VF ss ute with the Heads, dual chain and clutch kit just made 343.6rwkw with a mile of extra torque over the VE.

    If you want an awesome cam without going too big the SR2 cam is excellent and still has an excellent lump to it.
